Cakes & Cupcakes

Cakes & Cupcakes:

Cake:

​

A Standard Dessert Girlie Cake is 9 inches, cut in half and frosted.

Layer:  is my Standard Cake with up to 5 cake layers.

Non Layer:  is a Cake that has been bake in a special Cake Pan (like Bundt Pan) or Slab Cake (9x13 Pan).

Candy:  is a Cake with a 3 layer minimum and decorated with candy.

Shaped:  are Cakes made from fun shaped molds and are sold as a single layer.  Can be sliced and have an inside frosting.

Surprise:  is a Cake with a 2 layer minimum and has a surprise on the inside.

Cupcakes:


Are sold in 3 different size sets -
Large (4), Regular (12), and Mini (24)

and can be done as: Traditional, "Stuffed", "Fun Dipz" and Stuffed & Dipz.

Traditional: an individual portion of cake, baked in a cup-shaped mold and decorated with a simple icing or frosting

Stuffed: a traditional cupcake that's "stuffed" with things like: mousse, jams/curds, cookies/candies, cream cheese, and ect.

Fun Dipz: just when you thought a cupcake couldn't get any better, I decided to dip it ... in candy/chocolate shell.

Stuffed & Dipz: the best of a "Stuffed" and "Fun Dipz" cupcake combined. :mind blowing powers:

Frostings -

I make most of my frostings from scratch and my Basic is a blend of

Chocolate, Strawberry or Vanilla and a cream to hold it all together.

(as seen in the picture)

Other types Frosting include: 

Buttercream: A mixture of Butter and Sugar and sometimes Eggs and Cream.

   American - Butter and Powder Sugar, optional Eggs (whites, yolks, or whole) and cream.

   French - boiling Syrup and Egg yolks beaten then Butter is added and mixed again.

   German - A basic Buttercream with added Pastry Cream / Custard.

​   Italian /Swiss - hot Syrup, Water, and Meringue (Egg white foam) beaten into Butter.

Cream Cheese: A mixture of Sugar and Cream Cheese.

Ganache: Melted Chocolate and Cream mixed together to make a shiny coating or drips on a Cake.

Glaze: A mixture of Powder Sugar (aka Icing or Confectioners Sugar) and liquid (different then a Mirror Glaze)

Whipped Cream: A mixture of Heavy Cream and Powder Sugar, optional flavors can be added

This can come as a Non-Layer Cake or "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A fluffy White Cake.

Cupcakes: are filled with Custard and topped with seasonal berries.

Animal Cookie Cake

This can come as a Cake, "Stuffed" or "Stuffed & Dipz" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A Pink & White swirl Cake with Animal Cookies baked within and a
special Cheesecake frosting.  Dipz for Cupcake and drips for Cake.

Prices:

Birthday Surprise Cake

This comes as a Cake or "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A White Cake, basic or Cheesecake frosting, decorated with your choice of sprinkles (color and shape) and a "SURPRISE" filling.

Cannoli Cake

This comes as a Cake, "Fun Dipz" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A Yellow Cake with a Ricotta and Chocolate Chips (hints of Almond or Orange) frosting. Dipz for Cupcakes and drips for Cake.

Black Forest Cake

This comes as a Cake, Cake Parfait, or "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A Chocolate Cake with a Cherry and Crème Chantey filling, frosted with the Crème, Chocolate Bark and topped with more Cherry filling and Maraschino Cherries for Cake.  Cupcakes get Maraschino Cherry

Chocolate Covered Strawberry Cake

This comes as a Cake, "Stuffed & Fun Dipz" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A Strawberry Cake with a Strawberry filling (Jam or Cream), and Strawberry frosting, then Dipz for Cupcakes and drips for Cake.

Prices:

Cake starting at: $20 dollars.

Coconut Cream Cake

This comes as a Cake and as a "Stuffed" Cupcake.

  Flavors -

A White Coconut Cake with a fluffy inter and outer (Meringue, Mouse, or Whipped Cream) frosting and covered in Coconut flakes.

Créme Banana Brûlée Cake

This comes as a Cake or "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A Banana Cake, Caramel and brûléed Banana slices layered between the Cake, and a Brown Butter Cream Cheese frosting.  Caramel Drips and brûléed Cake top.

Prices:

Cookies n Cream Cake

This comes in all forms.

  Flavors -

A Black Chocolate Cake with a smashed Cookie frosting and a Cookie crumble along the base and topped with Cookies.

Chocolate Raspberry Cake

This comes in all forms

A Chocolate Cake with Raspberry filling and can be frosted with Chocolate, Cream Cheese, or White Chocolate.

Irish Car Bomb Cake

This can come as a Cake and "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

Black Chocolate beer Cake filled with a Irish Whiskey filling and frosted with an Irish Cream, Butter Cream and topped with a Whiskey ganache and festive St Patrick's Day sprinkles.

Lemon Berry Cake

This can comes as a Slab Cake and Traditional Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A single layer of Lemon Cake and topped with seasonal berries then dusted with Confectioner's (Powdered/Icing) Sugar.

Matcha Cake

This can comes as a Cake and "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

Matcha (Green Tea) Cake filled with a Blackberry-Cherry coulis and frosted with a Cream Cheese or White Chocolate whipped topping and Berry drips.  - Optional Fondant Cherry Blossoms and Kit-Kats.

Mint Cake

This comes in all forms.

  Flavors -

Chocolate, Green or White Cake with Mint frosting.  Add Chocolate Chips to make it a Mint n Chip Cake.

Lava Cake

This comes in a 6 inch ramekin size Cake.

  Flavors -

A Lemon or Chocolate Cake with a liquid center.

Prices:

1 Lava Cake: $7 dollars.
2 Lava Cakes: $10 dollars.
4 Lava Cakes: $20  dollars.

Lemon Lush Cake

This can comes as a Cake and "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A Lemon Cake filled with a Lemon or Raspberry Curd and
Mascarpane Mousse frosting.

Mexican Hot Chocolate Cake

This only comes as a Bundt Cake.

  Flavors -

Yellow Bundt Cake, with a nutty spice ribbon throughout the Cake and topped with an icing glaze.

This comes as a Cake and "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

A Spiced Cake Stuffed with Figs and a Honey Fig Jam, Cream Cheese Frosting, and garnished a Fig Drizzle.

Spumoni Cake

This only comes as a 3-Layer Cake

  Flavors -

A Cake version of the Italian Ice Cream with the same name: Cherry, Chocolate, and Pistachio.  Frosted in White Chocolate or  

Mascarpone or served Naked (lightly frosted layers)

Naked Cake starting at: $20 dollars.

Vanilla Cake: Asian Inspiration

This comes as a Cake and "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

The Asian Inspiration in this is the Macha Green Tea frosting.  The inner frosting is a Raspberry Mousse.  Other Berries can be used in place of the Raspberries.

Tiramisu Cake

This comes as a Cake and "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

White Cake, filled with a Mascarpone mousse, brushed with coffee blend, and topped with a Creme Chantilly Frosting.  Grated chocolate and chocolate covered espresso bean garnish the top.

Velvet Cakes

This comes as a Cake and "Stuffed" Cupcakes.

  Flavors -

To me Velvet Cakes are lighter and smoother then most cakes and come in a variety colors.  I normally use a Whipped Cream Cheese frosting.

They are done as a special order and sold in group of 2 dozen per set.

 

Prices start at $25 per set.

Upgrade the sticks for a few dollars more per dozen.

Similar to my regular cupcakes they too can be "Stuffed", "Fun Dipz" or both for an additional cost.

Smash Cakes:

Another type of cake I love to make, but rarely ever make are Smash Cakes.

They are done as a special order or as a "Thank-You" gift when I made a Dessert Table for your Baby Shower or  Baby's First Birthday.
